Welcome to the website of our Avila Circle Neighborhood inside Pelican Preserve. We are proud of our neighborhood. To enter and visit various pages within our website you will have to become a registered user. To become a Registered User, you must be a resident.

Avila is a condominium neighborhood of 96 single family homes within Pelican Preserve, an age controlled community located on Treeline Avenue 1 mile east of Route 75, Exit 136, in Fort Myers, Florida. Available to residents of Pelican Preserve are a Town Center with fitness center, restaurant, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, a softball diamond, community garden, and other amenities. Residents can also join the Pelican Preserve Golf Club, a semi-public course with 27 championship holes. There are several other neighborhoods within Pelican preserve, each with its own condominium or homeowners association.

WCI is the developer of Pelican Preserve. The original name of the development was Sun City Center Ft. Myers, thus the legal name of our condominium association. The development name was eventually changed to Pelican Preserve in keeping with the theme of several other WCI developments which had the word “Pelican” in the name. Pelican Preserve is currently planned for 2500 homes. There are over 900 homes presently built. The Avila neighborhood is unique in that, unlike most condominiums which are vertical and/or connected by shared walls and/or floors, Avila is comprised of all single family homes. There are no shared walls or roofs. Each unit has a small courtyard and a lanai. Many of the homes have extended caged lanais or caged lanais with swimming pools. Many of the homes look out on the golf course or on several of the lakes scattered on the outskirts of the neighborhood. As you can imagine, since this is an active adult community, that the Avila residents are involved with the many community clubs, play golf, fish, play tennis, hike, or enjoy the nearby beaches. And because the units are all single family homes, there is a sense of tranquility and privacy in the neighborhood.
